revert(gateway): restore previous CORS middleware (pre CORS experiment)

Restores identical behavior to before commit 4a7df5b. Note-load work did not alter /api/v1/auth/providers routing; sign-in issues are diagnosed via fetch(auth/providers) + Origin — see docs/CORS-WWW-AND-APEX.md.
