# Content creation template This template fits **books, blogs, newsletters, and long-form creative work** where you need capture, research, outlines, publication records, and a living style guide. ## What you get - **Inbox** — orientation and quick ideas. - **Drafts** — work in progress with editorial metadata in frontmatter. - **Research** — clips with sources and why they matter. - **Outlines** — chapter or post skeletons with word targets. - **Published** — canonical record after ship: URL, metrics, lessons. - **Style guide** — voice, tone, and examples your editors (human or AI) can follow. ## Workflow 1. Drop raw ideas in **inbox** or straight into **drafts** with `status: draft`. 2. When research stacks up, file clips under **research** with URLs and quotes. 3. On publish, copy the final Markdown into **published** and add metrics after 7 and 30 days. ## Frontmatter All starter notes include `title`, `project`, `tags`, and `date`. Drafts add `status`, `target_date`, and `word_count_target` where useful.
